The Gilbert Agricultural & Rural Development Center (GARD) would like to inform the public that we have been devastated by a break-in that took place over the weekend where EVERYTHING was stolen.

We are here to support the vulnerable and provide training so that these folks are able to create a sustainable livelihood to support themselves and their families.

But we have been devastated by a break-in where all the training equipment and support equipment has been stolen. Our chefs kitchen was ravaged and the stoves, freezers, fridges, mixers stolen.

Our ac units, water fountain, some tables were taken. Every door was destroyed. Even our seedlings and locally made soaps were stolen.

However, we will build back we are determined to support the vulnerable and we know that our stakeholders will come out and support us in this building back process.

Everything here was earned through project grant funding and donations, and we will have to work even harder to rebuild but we will be better than ever.

We are determined to support the vulnerable. Call 4634121 to give donations and support.”

  1. I am lost for words …..what kind of low life, heartless, stinking creature would do something like that ( I found some words) ?!?! All I can hope is that they will be found and properly dealt with before handed over to the law enforcement ! I am seriously angry.
