“The Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority wishes to advise on an incident involving a missing 4-seater Cessna 172 aircraft which departed Douglas-Charles Airport at 3:46pm Sunday January 26th, 2025 and on route to Martinique.
Communications were lost with the aircraft after departure and all relevant local and French emergency response teams are currently working to locate it.
Rescue efforts are in progress and we confirm that the safety of the passenger and crew is paramount at this time.
