GIS Antigua & Barbuda: Five new fire appliances have arrived in Antigua and will soon bolster the fleet of the Antigua and Barbuda Fire Department.

The five new fire appliances are part of seven purchased by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda through an investment of close to 8 million dollars.

“This investment underscores our dedication to safeguarding lives and property in Antigua and Barbuda.

These resources will significantly enhance the capacity of our fire and rescue services to respond effectively to emergencies.” Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne said in his 2025 Budget Address.

Exact details on the types of and function of these new fire appliances will be provided in the coming week.
