The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) held a ceremony at the Department of Environment (DoE), unveiling seven new garbage compactor trucks of varying sizes, a backhoe, and an excavator.
This new equipment will assist the Authority in navigating some of the challenges being faced with collection services and also better assist with the ongoing drain cleaning activities throughout the country.
The NSWMA wishes to thank the donors, especially the Japanese International Corporation System, which donated one of the compactor trucks and the excavator, and the Government Investment System, which donated the remaining equipment.
