St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, 31 October 2026: The public is advised that traffic restrictions will be in effect on Saturday, 31 October 2026, in connection with scheduled CHOGM activities at Government House.

Traffic management measures will primarily be confined to the immediate surrounding areas of Government House, affecting the following roads and locations:
• Upper Church Street
• Cross Street
• Old Parham Road
• Lower Factory Road, extending towards Long Street
• The area leading to the APUA Building (Big Church)
• Newgate Street
• The area extending towards the YMCA and back to the Antigua Recreation Ground (ARG).

These measures are intended to facilitate the movement of CHOGM delegates and other authorised attendees, including those utilising the ARG as a designated parking area.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution, follow the instructions of traffic officers and comply with all temporary traffic management arrangements.

Please note: The traffic restrictions for 31 October will be limited in comparison to those anticipated for Tuesday, 3 November 2026, when more significant traffic disruptions and road closures are expected in connection with the CHOGM Opening Ceremony.

The public is encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and remain attentive to further traffic updates.
