The National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) advises all residents to exercise heightened caution due to persistent rainfall associated with Tropical Storm Jerry.

Several areas across the island are experiencing flooding, with particular concern for Sir Sydney Walling Highway, Bathlodge area, Friars Hill Road, Folleys, Pigotts (landing strip area), and adjoining routes.

Drivers, especially those operating smaller vehicles, are urged to avoid traversing flooded roadways, as these conditions present increased risks. NODS strongly recommends adhering to all safety guidelines and refraining from unnecessary travel until conditions improve.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed by regularly monitoring updates from the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service (MET) regarding safe travel advisories and outdoor activities.

NODS remains actively engaged in monitoring the evolving situation and will continue to provide timely updates to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.
