The Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre wishes to advise the public of our adjusted operational schedule over the upcoming holiday period. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀; 𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀:

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝗻𝗱 (𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱): – 𝗡𝗼𝘃 𝟰) All routine outpatient services including Outpatient Clinics, Rehab Services, Radiology, and Laboratory diagnostics will be 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 in observance of the public holiday.

𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝗿𝗱 (𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲): Due to national CHOGM-related events, the hospital will operate on an Emergency & Essential Services Only schedule. Outpatient clinics, Rehab Services, routine Radiology and Laboratory services remain 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 for outpatients.

𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰𝘁𝗵: All normal operations and all routine outpatient services will fully resume.

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀: Family visiting hours remain completely unaffected. We recognize the importance of family support in patient recovery and encourage you to visit your loved ones during our standard visiting hours throughout this holiday period.

𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲: Our Emergency Room (ER) remains open 24/7 throughout this entire period to handle all acute and life-threatening medical emergencies.
