The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority (ABAA) advises the travelling public that temporary traffic and parking arrangements will be in effect at the V. C. Bird International Airport from Sunday, 1 November, to Saturday, 7 November 2026.

These measures are necessary to support the safe and efficient movement of passengers and other airport users during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

The greatest traffic disruption is expected between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily from 2 to 4 November, during the CHOGM Business Forum, which will be taking place at the Sticky Wicket.

Members of the travelling public are therefore asked to take note of the following:
β€’ Allow extra time: Plan your journey to the airport in advance and allow additional time for possible traffic delays.

β€’ Follow traffic directions: Observe all temporary signs and follow the instructions of police officers managing traffic and parking on and around the airport compound.

β€’ Use designated parking areas: Park only in authorised spaces and observe all temporary parking restrictions.

Passengers requiring assistance:

Passengers with disabilities or accessibility needs may contact the Airport Information Desk at (268) 484-1322, 484-1425 or 484-1426 for assistance and inquiries.

For information and assistance:

Passengers and airport users may visit the Information Desks on the lower concourse of Terminal A or call any of the numbers listed above.

The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as these temporary measures take effect.

We encourage all airport users to plan ahead and work with our teams to help ensure a seamless experience at the V. C. Bird International Airport during this important period.
