St. John’s, Antigua – May 21, 2026 – The APUA Water Business Unit sincerely apologizes to the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC), staff members, and members of the public
affected by today’s disruption in water supply at the affected registration units.

We fully recognize the inconvenience caused, particularly to persons attempting to access important public services.
The Water Business Unit continues to manage daily distribution challenges across the network while working to improve service delivery to customers throughout Antigua and Barbuda.

As part of these efforts, our teams are currently reviewing and refining operational distribution arrangements to support a more balanced and equitable flow of water across communities and service areas.
Our teams will work to restore and improve water supply within the areas where the affected centres are located so that normal operations can resume as soon as possible.

We understand that many customers have been experiencing frustration due to repeated service interruptions, and we genuinely acknowledge the impact these challenges are having on homes, businesses, and daily activities.
Our teams remain committed to making the necessary operational improvements and adjustments aimed at strengthening the reliability and consistency of the water
network.
