Strengthening communication. Elevating capability.

Members of the National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) Public Relations department attended an intensive Unit Public Affairs Representative (UPAR) course alongside ABDF personnel and other government agencies, led by an expert team from the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

The participants received hands-on training in media relations, strategic messaging, and public communications—essential skills for today’s fast-paced information environment.

This collaborative course held at Camp Blizzard boosted individual capabilities and reinforced the importance of international partnerships in advancing professional education and public affairs operations.
