STATE MEDIA: The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard (ABDF-CG) has called off the search for three fishermen who went missing on February 21, 2025 following almost two weeks of futile searches.

This means the fate of Matthias Greenaway, Glenmore Matthew and Clancy Samuel remains unknown. The vessel also remains missing.

The ABDF shared the news with distraught family members Friday morning (March 21, 2025) at Coast Guard Headquarters in St. John’s.

The ABDF and their regional partners had been engaged in a series of aerial and maritime searches for the men.

The Coast Guard will however remain vigilant for any further development in the matter.
