The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) marked the official handover of an additional 400,000 US gallon per day Reverse Osmosis unit at Ffryes Beach, further strengthening Antigua and Barbuda’s water production capacity.
This is the second 400,000 gallon unit donated by the Government and People of Japan. The first was commissioned in 2022, making today’s handover another important milestone in the continued expansion of the Ffryes Beach facility.
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda and APUA extend sincere appreciation to the Government and People of Japan for their continued generosity, friendship and support in strengthening Antigua and Barbuda’s water resilience.
