Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services (ABMS): A new SOFAR Spotter Buoy has been successfully deployed in the waters between Antigua and Barbuda, strengthening our capacity to monitor ocean and marine conditions.

Members of the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services (ABMS), Antigua and Barbuda Fisheries Division, Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF), and the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH) were a part of the deployment today.

This collaborative effort highlights the importance of partnership and shared expertise in improving ocean observations, marine forecasting, research and safety. Better observations. Better forecasts. Safer seas.
