Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) – On 30th June 2026, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) Air Wing Unit proudly marked a significant milestone with the hosting of its official Flag Raising Ceremony at Camp Blizard.

The occasion was attended by the Chief of Defence Staff, the Force Sergeant Major (FSM), Commanding Officers, Regimental Sergeant Majors (RSMs), and other distinguished members of the Defence Force, underscoring the importance of this historic event.

The ceremony commenced with the Air Wing Unit on parade, displaying the discipline, professionalism, and pride that define the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force.

The parade was formally inspected by the Chief of Defence Staff before the proceedings continued with the ceremonial raising of the Air Wing’s flag.

As the flag ascended, it became more than a ceremonial emblem, it stood as a powerful symbol of the Air Wing’s identity, dedication, and continued commitment to excellence in service to the nation.

Raised proudly for the first time, the flag now flies high as a lasting representation of the unit’s achievements, traditions, and aspirations for the future.
