Antigua & Barbuda Meteorological Service (ABMS): A trough system is currently affecting Antigua, Barbuda, and the Leeward Islands, producing considerable cloudiness, thunderstorms, and periods of heavy rainfall across the islands.

Residents are advised to exercise extreme caution, especially when driving through areas experiencing heavy showers, as visibility may be reduced and road conditions could become hazardous.

No Flood Watches or Warnings are currently in effect. However, a flood advisory may become necessary if heavier rainfall persists.

Conditions are expected to gradually improve from this afternoon into tonight. The Antigua & Barbuda Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
