UPDATE #2
The APUA Electricity Business Unit wishes to advise the public that power has now been restored to most areas following the earlier island-wide outage.
At this time, customers specifically fed by the Cassada Gardens #2 Feeder remain out of service as our teams continue restoration work. The affected areas include Old Parham Road, Skerritts Pasture, Sutherlands, Clare Hall School, Christ the King High School, Wireless Road, Holberton Hospital, parts of Upper Gambles, and the Passport Office.

Our technicians are working diligently to ensure that when service is restored to these areas, customers receive the proper voltage required for safe and reliable operation, rather than experiencing low voltage issues.
We sincerely thank the public for your continued patience and understanding as we work to fully restore service safely and efficiently.

We would like to provide an update regarding the island-wide outage currently affecting our customers.
Our Electricity Business Unit identified a fault on the Cassada #2 Feeder, located very close to our substation. This fault caused a brief collapse of the system, resulting in the widespread outage currently being experienced.

Our crews are actively working to safely restore the system and return operations to normal as quickly as possible. At this time, we anticipate that restoration efforts should be finalized within approximately one and a half to two hours.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank the public for your continued patience and understanding as we work to restore service safely and efficiently.
