The Immigration Department is searching for Akido McDonald of Jamaica, who escaped from their detention center.
The 26-year-old resident of St. Ann was denied entry into the country on Thursday, 23rd January 2025, and was detained at the Immigration Detention Centre at Coolidge.
He somehow managed to escape from the facility around 3:40 pm on Friday, January 24th and is still at large.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to notify the Department of Immigration at 562-5394, 764-3240, 562-8620, or the nearest police station.
The Immigration Department is also reminding residents that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist anyone to elude them.
