On Thursday, April 18th, 2024, members of the Antigua Barbuda Defence Force (ABDF) concluded their Search and Rescue Course, which was conducted under the guidance of instructors from the Florida National Guard. The course aimed to enhance the ABDF’s capabilities in responding to emergencies and providing critical assistance during times of crisis.
Throughout the training program, participants received hands-on instruction, practical exercises, and valuable insights from experienced personnel, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to effectively carry out search and rescue operations in diverse scenarios, including natural disasters and humanitarian missions.
