Antigua and Barbuda Defense Force (ABDF) – In observance of Heart Disease Awareness Month, the Medic team from the Antigua & Barbuda Defence Force, in collaboration with the Heart & Stroke Foundation visited the Freetown Primary School on February 1, 2024, for a Health Fair.
Participating schools, including Newfield Primary and Bethesda Primary, joined in for the occasion.
The purpose of the Health Fair was to impart knowledge to students about making healthy choices through engaging presentations and exercise sessions featuring Arthur the heart.
The ABDF Medics conducted comprehensive medical screenings for the faculty, assessing weight, height, blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels.
We urge the public to take proactive measures to prioritize their health by making informed and healthy choices.
