MINISTRY OF HEALTH – Seven Emergency Medical Technicians attached to the Antigua Barbuda Emergency Medical Services participated in an Electric Vehicle (EV) Safety Training Workshop for Emergency Responders.

Morvin Fiedtkou, Tundea Bruce, Brandon Browne, Courtney Kellman, Keifer Southwell, Greg Lewis and Don Thomas represented the ABEMS at the training which was hosted by the Department of Environment in collaboration with Megapower Antigua.

The training session is a part of the SLIM project that is working to facilitate the EV transition here in Antigua and Barbuda.

Other participants included Emergency responders from non-governmental organizations, Police Officers, Firefighters, Taxi Drivers and Bus Drivers.
