Antigua just experienced the wettest February in nearly two decades. February 2023 turned out to be the wettest since 2004. The total for the month of 81.0 mm (3.19 in) was not only the wettest since 2004 but the 10th wettest on record dating back to 1928.

Usually, February is the second driest month of the year, based on the most recent climate period, 1991 to 2020. At an island average of 50.0 mm (1.97 in), only March is drier with 46.5 mm (1.83 in).
The wettest February was that of 1982 with 130.8 mm (5.15 in) and the driest was that of 1983 with 8.1 mm (0.32 in).
