Heart and Stroke Foundation, Antigua Barbuda – ‘Arter’ is all heart! Meet ‘Arter’, the new mascot unveiled yesterday Wednesday 1st February 2023 by the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The larger-than-life character has been specially created for the Foundation by local costume builder Zeno Richardson in collaboration with artist Shane Daniel.

It is hoped that Arter will help the Foundation raise awareness of the need for a healthy lifestyle to avoid heart disease, stroke and diabetes.

Arter was officially introduced to the nation at Government House on Wednesday to mark the start of National Heart Month.
