Traffic Management Plan with Diversions is in Effect

Traffic Management Plan  

Work under the Government of Antigua and Barbuda Second Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project will see resurfacing work on a section of Old Parham Road (OPR) this week.

A new traffic management plan (with diversions) is in effect from: Between Nugent Ave (west of YASCO Sport Complex to Coronation Road (at HMP) at the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG).

Date: Effective Thursday 27^th October 2022

Time: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Westbound Traffic Diversion:

West Bound Traffic on Old Parham Road would divert left on Nugent ave, then West on Factory Road to return to Old Parham Road either from Coronation Road or from Independence Ave.

Eastbound Traffic Diversion:

East Bound Traffic on Old Parham Road from the Roundabout would divert right onto Coronation Road, then East on Factory Road, before returning to Old Parham Road via Nugent Avenue.

Northbound Traffic Diversion:

North Bound Traffic on Independence Avenue intending to go East on Old Parham Road, shall divert right on Factory Road (North of the War Memorial), then left on Coronation Road to rejoin Old Parham Road.

Northbound traffic on Independence Avenue intending to turn left at the roundabout, shall divert left onto Church Street, then right on Church Lane, then right on Newgate Street, then left on Cross Street to get to Friars Hill Rd.

Southbound Traffic Diversion:

Southbound Traffic on Friars Hill Road intending to get to Independence Avenue or Old Parham Road shall continue straight at the Friars Hill/Old Parham Road Roundabout onto Cross Street, then left on Long Street then towards Independence Avenue.
