National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) – On Friday, September 30 2022, nineteen individuals from five churches completed a one-week shelter management workshop, at the Cashew Hill Moravian Church.

The churches represented were Cana Moravian, Cedar Hall Moravian, Bible Speaks Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA), Tindale SDA and Steps to Christ SDA.

This forms part of a project being undertaken by the Department of Environment to boost the number of shelters on the island and also to enhance their infrastructure so they can function more effectively.
