National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) – Eighteen individuals completed a three-day training aimed at improving logistics during relief and disaster management.

The session was conducted by Logistics Specialist with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) Kevon Campbell and Geoffrey Chao from the World Food Programme (WFP). The participants were presented with certificates today at the end of the session.

They represented NODS, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force, the Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority, Customs Department, Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross, the District Disaster Committee, the Adventist Disaster Relief Agency (ADRA), Lions Club of Antigua and the Rotary Club of Antigua.
