ABS TELEVISION: Are you prepared and on alert? Well, if you are not, you need to act with dispatch because the Atlantic Hurricane season began Wednesday and continues until November 30.

It is forecast to be the seventh straight season that will see above-average activity. An average hurricane season produces 14 named storms, and 7 hurricanes, three of which are set to become major of category three or higher.
