With the Atlantic hurricane season just around the corner, Barbados is working to have a hurricane hunter aircraft stationed on the island.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says a request has been made to this effect.

She highlighted this while addressing the inaugural gathering of the Athletes, Conservationists, Technologists, Artists and Innovators (ACTAI) group.
