The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rotary International.
The signing occurred on April 13, 2022, with Executive Director of CDEMA Ms. Elizabeth Riley and District Governor of Rotary’s District 7030 Mrs. Sonya Alleyne.
The MoU focuses on enhancing the Regional Response Mechanisms, through a range of agreements including the provision of volunteers for the CDEMA system.
Specifically rotary volunteers in various areas of expertise – capacity building activities for youth and educational/training initiatives on disaster management.
