(Dashboard Update for February 9, 2022)

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment revealed four hundred and sixty-eight (468) new laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday 7th February 2022 at 6pm.

One hundred and ninety-six (196) were recorded on February 2nd, one hundred and thirty-one (131) on the 3rd, one hundred and twenty-four (124) on the 4th, nine (9) on the 5th and eight (8) on the 7th.

A total of nine hundred and sixty-two (962) samples were processed from a backlog of samples at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. Two hundred and sixteen (216) recovered cases were recorded.

Two (2) COVID-19 related deaths were recorded at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre on February 5th.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is seven thousand three hundred and twenty-one (7,321); which is inclusive of five hundred and seventy-one(571) active cases. There are nine (9) hospitalized cases; two (2) severe, one (1) moderate and six (6) mild.
