Residents are once again expressing concern over the damage done to a bus stop located on the recently rehabilitated Sir George Walter Highway. One of the newly built bus sheds in the vicinity of Caribbean Pharmaceutical Supplies Ltd. was spotted with its side glass shattered. This comes after another structure was damaged in a motor vehicle collision on Friar’s Hill Road earlier this month.

This is the second bus shed on the newly resurfaced highway that has been damaged. Another bus shed located in close proximity was seen earlier this year with similar damages after its rear glass was broken. Both structures are yet to be repaired.

The cause of the damages to both structures remain unknown. A previous communication from the Ministry of Works earlier this year urged residents to provide the relevant authorities with any information that may lead to the cause of the damages. The Ministry further encouraged everyone to play a part in safeguarding national infrastructure.
