Fifty-two (52) buildings around Antigua and Barbuda have been earmarked as part of a US $42.1 million project that will transform existing infrastructure into climate-proof buildings that can better withstand extreme climate events like hurricanes.

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) Build Project will also improve early warning systems and strengthen climate information services by increasing the capacity of the public and private sector through certified training at the UWI Five Islands and ABICE.
