On Thursday 11th November 2021 the US Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda Her Excellency Linda Taglialatela handed over two 40-bed field hospitals, costing approximately 1.2 million US dollars, to the government of Antigua and Barbuda. Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne accepted the donation this morning during a ceremony at Camp Blizzard. Prime Minister Browne says the field hospitals – one for Antigua and one for Barbuda, will greatly improve the country’s response capabilities in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
