National Office of Disaster Services (NODS): The National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) facilitated a mass casualty exercise this morning at Scotts Hill that tested the response mechanism at the Emergency Room at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
The event simulated a vehicle crash in the vicinity of the Methodist Conference Centre and involved E911, the hospital, the Emergency Medical Services, the Fire Department, and the Police Force.
This is in preparation for events relating to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting scheduled to begin later this month.
