The APUA Water Business Unit wishes to advise customers that the two Reverse Osmosis plants at Barnacle Point are temporarily offline due to a power outage affecting operations at the facilities.

Our operators are closely monitoring the situation while teams from the APUA Electricity Business Unit work to resolve this unforeseen issue as quickly and safely as possible.

As a result, some customers may experience low pressure or temporary interruptions to their water supply in the following areas: Coolidge, Paynters, areas west and south of the Pigotts Playfield and School, Potters Main Road from the junction of Sir Sydney Walling Highway to Cottage Junction, Scotts Hill, St. John’s City and surrounding communities, areas supplied by the Grays Hill Reservoir, and areas supplied by the Cassada Gardens Booster Station including communities from Cedar Valley through to Boons Point.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank customers for their patience and understanding as restoration efforts continue.
