The community is advised that the historic water tank located just outside the Grace Hill Moravian Church in Liberta has sustained significant structural damage following a collision with a motor vehicle. The tank, which is understood to be over 100 years old, is now unstable.
Authorities have been notified; a report has been filed with the Public Works Department and requests for urgent remedial repairs have been submitted. However, until repairs commence, the structure remains extremely hazardous.
The public is hereby warned to keep a safe distance and refrain from approaching, leaning on or touching the water tank under any circumstances. There is a serious risk that the structure may collapse, which could result in injury or death.
Parents, guardians, and teachers are urged to speak with children immediately and emphasize the danger of playing near the tank. Your cooperation is vital to ensuring the safety of everyone in our community.
