National Office of Disaster Services (NODS): It was an afternoon of fun and a show of life-saving skills by District Disaster Coordinators and their team of volunteers at the first ever Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) Exhibition Sunday at the St. Johnston’s Village Playing Field.

The event hosted by NODS was sponsored by the National Disaster Facility (NDF) under the 11th European Development Fund with support from the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA).

Special thanks to members of the public who supported the event along with the District Disaster Coordinators and Volunteers who took part, NODS staff, the Management of the St. Johnston’s Village Sports Complex, the Central Board of Health, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force, DDT&Q Enterprise, the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross, Emergency Medical Services, the Police Force, Fire Department, Ministry of Works and Housing, GCS Bottling, APUA, Omari and his cleaning team from St John’s Rural East, Leewind Paints and Government Motor Pool.
