The National Sailing Academy has swapped its entry and exit gates. Changing old habits is hard but necessary. The organization is committed to ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic into and out of the property.
Having conferred with the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, they are changing the entry and exit gates.

Effective immediately, the following adjustments will be in place:
• The previous entrance gate will now serve as the exit.
• The previous exit gate will now function as the entrance.

This change is designed to enhance safety by providing drivers with a longer line of sight when entering the property when driving into English Harbour.
Currently, due to the bend in the road, crossing oncoming traffic, which is often traveling at speed, can be a problem.
Additionally, the new exit configuration allows for clear visibility from both directions, ensuring a safe departure for all vehicles leaving the premises.

We kindly ask all visitors to adhere strictly to the new traffic standards. Clearly marked signs are now posted at the exit gate stating, “No Entry – Please Use Other Entrance.
To further enhance visibility and clarity, a flagpole showcasing the National Sailing Academy flag has been installed at the NEW entrance. This is visible when driving into English Harbour at the first gate.

We appreciate the cooperation of all patrons as we implement these changes and remind everyone to drive slowly and park respectfully once on the property to ensure accessibility for all. Thank you for your continued support.
