ST JOHNS ANTIGUA, 24th October 2025 – The APUA Water Business Unit team is working to gradually bring the Delaps Water Treatment Facility back online.

This process involves increased treatment activities, rigorous chemical testing, and the flushing of distribution lines at various points.

Due to the age of the existing distribution valve network, complete isolation may not be possible during this process. As a result, some customers may temporarily notice a mild odour caused by residual water from earlier in the week.

As an added precaution, APUA will engage an independent agency to conduct comprehensive water quality testing before the Delaps facility resumes full operations.

APUA Water Business Unit sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and assures customers that the health and safety of the public remain our highest priority.

Our Contact Centre remains available 24/7 at 211 to assist customers with any concerns or reports. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to restore
normal service as safely and efficiently as possible.
