Two personnel from the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) concluded a one-week training with select staff at the National Office of Disaster Services (NODS) looking at the efficient management of the office’s warehouse.

Head of Supply Chain Capacity Strengthening Ann Kathrin Landhere and Supply Chain Planning Officer Zoe Cauvin led the sessions with the NODS team looking at strengthening operations within the warehouse and examining the gaps to make operations more efficient and cost effective.

A lot of work was also done to enhance how data can be used to monitor the storage and movement of stocks to affected population, how external audiences can better understand the data and how the data can be utilised to make informed decisions.
