Dale Destin – 268Weather: Tropical Disturbance AL98 is moving through the region. It has a 70% chance of becoming a tropical depression or storm within the next seven days, after clearing the Eastern Caribbean.

Regardless of development, the system is expected to bring more adverse weather to mainly the southern islands.

Things are changing, and there are uncertainties; however, the best forecast at this time is for AL98 to bring occasional showers and possibly thunderstorms across Antigua and Barbuda and most of the rest of the Leeward Islands, tonight into Monday morning, perhaps until a couple of hours after sunrise.

The possible rainfall total over the next 24 hours has dropped to 2 to 10 mm (0.04 to 0.4 in.), with isolated higher amounts. A flash flood advisory is now unlikely.
