WOCA31 TAPA
TROPICAL CYCLONE INFORMATION STATEMENT
ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA METEOROLOGICAL SERVICE
11:10 AM ECT SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 07, 2025

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service continues to monitor the tropical north Atlantic for tropical cyclone formation.

Tropical disturbance AL91 has dissipated; it no longer poses any threat of becoming a tropical cyclone. For now, the coast is clear.
As a tropical wave, the remnants of AL91 will reach the islands on Tuesday; hence, some showers are possible from the system.

The risk of hazards is very low, at this time. All are encouraged to remain prepared for the remainder of the hurricane season.

At 8 am ECT or 1200 UTC, the remnants of tropical disturbance AL91 was centred about 1213 miles east-southeast of Antigua and Barbuda and the Leeward Islands, moving west at around 11 mph. Maximum sustained winds are near 25 mph with higher gusts.

Formation chance through 48 hours is 0 percent, and formation chance over seven days is also 0 percent. This means development in the next seven days is virtually impossible.

Please note that there are no tropical cyclone alerts, watches or warnings in effect for the area. This is the last information statement on this system, unless it unexpectedly rejuvenates.
