National Office of Disaster Services – Antigua/Barbuda: It’s day three of the Heartsaver First Aid Training with some members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, facilitated by the Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

The initiative, organized by NODS, was held Monday with the first group of 15 officers. Another set participated in the session on Wednesday and on Friday the final set was involved in the practical training.

The Heartsaver First Aid Training teaches participants first aid basics – how to recognize medical emergencies, how to call for help and how to perform lifesaving skills.
