The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) Water Business Unit wishes to advise the general public that upgrade and installation works are progressing in the Cedar Valley area and will move into another section tomorrow, Thursday 4 September 2025.

As a result, a section of Cedar Valley Main Road, from the junction at Friars Hill Road to the corner at Old Popeshead Road, will be temporarily inaccessible.

Motorists are kindly asked to use Old Popeshead Road as a detour to access Friars Hill Road or to continue on to Cedar Valley Road.

The project involves laying new transmission lines that will connect to the 2 MIG Reverse Osmosis Plant at Shell Beach, strengthening the system and ensuring more reliable water delivery to communities throughout the northern corridor.

APUA apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their cooperation as we continue efforts to enhance the national water distribution network.
