The Ministry of Works’ Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU) is advising the public that single-lane traffic is in effect on major roads to facilitate ongoing infrastructure repairs.

Road markings and concrete works on Anchorage Road will continue this week, starting daily at approximately 8:00 a.m.

Single-lane traffic will be implemented on Valley Road North to facilitate asphalt repairs, junction repairs, and guardrail adjustments.

The intersection of Old Parham Road and Wireless Road will be CLOSED for junction repairs on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, and Sunday, August 24th, 2025. Traffic detour details will be announced later this week.

Flag persons will be employed, and motorists are encouraged to follow all instructions to ensure a cautious and safe passageway, as heavy-duty equipment will be operating near the works.

All businesses remain open. C.O. Williams Ltd. sincerely regrets the inconvenience. The road work is a part of the Second Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.

Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans to allow for delays. Telephone queries can be made by calling the C.O. Williams Project office at 562-9573.
