The Minister responsible for Public Utilities Hon. Melford Nicholas, and Mr. Brian Nicholas engage with the media, giving a walkthrough of the Restoration Project of the 600,000 gallon Storage Tank at Buckleys.

They highlight the significance of this project and its role in the continued enhancement of the reliability and resilience of water distribution to the communities served by the Buckleys Pump Station.

The areas that will be directly impacted include Buckleys Main Road, Law Pasture, St. Claire Heights, Buckleys, Swetes, Folly Development, Folly Hill, John Hughes, Wallings Tank, Liberta, Patterson, Horsford Hill, all the way up to Farrell Road in Falmouth.

In addition to these areas, other communities that stand to benefit from the project include Falmouth, Cobbs Cross, Piccadilly, and English Harbour, all of which will experience improved water service and enhanced infrastructure reliability.

This restoration project is a testament to the Authority’s continued commitment to supplying potable water of the highest international standard, ensuring long-term sustainability and readiness to meet the growing demands of the communities it serves.
