Strengthening communication. Elevating capability.

ABDF personnel, alongside other government agencies, enhanced both their voice and visibility during an intensive Unit Public Affairs Representative (UPAR) course, led by a highly skilled team from the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

Over five days, participants engaged in hands-on training in media relations, strategic messaging, and public communications, essential tools for effectively representing the Force in today’s fast-paced information environment.

The course also welcomed participants from other government agencies, fostering a collaborative, whole-of-government approach to communication.

This collaboration not only strengthened individual capabilities but also reinforced the value of international partnerships in advancing professional military education and public affairs operations.
