Jamaica Information Service: The Earthquake Unit has confirmed that an earthquake was felt earlier this morning (March 1, 2026) at 8:34 am in sections of Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Catherine, and in other sections of the island.
The quake’s epicentre was located approximately 10 km north east of Stony Hill, St. Andrew, with a magnitude of 4.6 and a focal depth of 16 km.
