The Royal Montserrat Police Service (RMPS) wishes to assure the public that the investigation into the disappearance of Ms. Nyoka Stewart remains our highest priority.

The RMPS and our partners from the Fire service, DMCA and volunteers from the community have already conducted comprehensive searches and will continue to do everything reasonably possible to locate her.

From the beginning of this inquiry, all information and leads brought to the attention of the investigative team have been carefully followed up. We are committed to ensuring that no reasonable line of inquiry is overlooked.

As part of our continued efforts, another search operation will be carried out today. This will include drone-assisted aerial searches, land searches, and a search along the coastline, including areas previously examined, to ensure that nothing has been missed.

We continue to engage with the community and encourage anyone with information—no matter how small—to come forward. Missing person flyers remain widely circulated on social media, and outreach has extended to neighbouring islands.

The RMPS is working closely with local and regional partners to pursue every possible avenue that may assist this investigation. We are also meeting with Ms Stewart’s family to provide updates on the progress of the inquiry. We remind the public to be mindful when sharing information online.

Unverified or harmful speculation can cause distress to the family and may hinder our efforts. Any useful or credible information should be shared directly with the police.

The Royal Montserrat Police Service remains committed to keeping the public informed and to working with the community as we continue our efforts to locate Ms Stewart.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Royal Montserrat Police Service.
