The VC Bird International Airport reports that airspace restrictions affecting the Caribbean region, which were implemented yesterday due to the situation in Venezuela, have now been lifted.
Correspondingly, airlines are working to restore normal schedules today and accommodate passengers affected by yesterday’s cancellations.

Already, American Airlines has advised it will be adding an extra flight to its Miami-Antigua route, leaving Miami at 2pm today and returning/departing from Antigua at 7:40pm.
Passengers are urged to contact their respective airlines directly for flight information.

Additionally, given the expected influx of passengers today who may need special assistance, travelers should plan to arrive at the airport at least three (3) hours prior to scheduled or revised departure time.
We will continue to provide updates as necessary throughout the day.
