Dale Destin – 268Weather: Swells heading our way are peaking again, which will keep near shore conditions hazardous, especially for beachgoers to the northern and north-facing coastlines.

They are likely to return to relatively safe levels around New Year’s Day.

Previous Notice:

Swells have peaked again, this time near 12 feet from the north, as indicated by NOAA Buoy 41044. With attenuation, these swells are expected to peak near 11 feet across parts of the northeastern Caribbean.

Swells should gradually subside, returning to “safe” levels around New Year’s Day. However, this is the season for swells: November to April.
